I got John Travolta to kiss Olivia Newton John at the Grease party back in 1978. Much better then having them just mug for my camera. Travolta lived in my building, but I never saw him.

The amount of times I’ve reblogged this now is sad.

omg mind fuck i love this so much

put yourself in the picture takers position, think “would i walk over this” even if you know this is painted on a side walk you can feel your brain telling you no, its not safe. Thats crazy to me, even though you know its a sidewalk painting your subconscious is telling your body no,

this is so deep i’m gonna cry :’(

i feel like im gonna fall just by looking at this

I’m really trying to wrap my mind around how the artist possibly painted this and my brain hurts.

“A three second exposure meant that subjects had to stand very still to avoid being blurred, and holding a smile for that period was tricky. As a result, we have a tendency to see our Victorian ancestors as even more formal and stern than they might have been.”

WOW, I REALLY LIKE THIS.

Until now I honestly didn’t believe people of that period ever smiled.
